In 2023, Common Ground received an anonymous letter from a former, high-level MMSD employee alleging serious mismanagement practices by Veolia. This sparked an investigation into the management of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District’s (MMSD) waste water treatment facilities. Since then, we have heard from dozens former and current MMSD/Veolia employees who echo similar concerns.
