SUMMER YOUTH JOBS
Creating opportunities for tomorrow’s leaders
the problem
Milwaukee has a shortage of summer jobs for young adults.
WHAT WE’VE
DONE
Our first campaign in 2008/09 involved pressuring the City of Milwaukee to expand the Earn and Learn Summer Youth Jobs program.
This resulted in the program expanding the number of jobs available to young people each summer from 1,700 to 3,000.
