Climate change is a global problem that is affecting all of us. Yet not everyone has the resources to make their homes more resilient. At the same time, the climate crisis has unlocked billions in federal funding that should, in part, be used to uplift working-class and lower-income people through quality green jobs, home improvements, and lower energy bills.
Our goals
Help low-income homeowners and renters in Milwaukee get free or low-cost energy-efficiency and comfort upgrades
Build power in the working class and lower-income Milwaukee neighborhoods
Support the creation of quality green jobs and careers, especially for people of color here in Milwaukee
Help the environment — making homes more energy-efficient is one of the most impactful things we can do to slow climate change
