Add nepotism to the list of issues that plagued the prior leadership of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee.
A newly-released third-party report notes that both human resources manager Crystal Reed-Hardy and deputy director Fernando Aniban hired family members and individuals closely connected to their families.
According to a HACM spokesperson, Reed-Hardy was terminated in May. Aniban resigned in January, shortly after Secretary-Executive Director Willie Hines, Jr. announced his surprise retirement.
